... but may be interesting all the same  Q/ What program(s) do you use? A/ I use a mix of PaintTool SAI, Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0, Adobe Photoshop 6.0 & CS5, Adobe Illustrator CS5 and Adobe Flash CS5. But I'm also looking into OpenCanvas and SketchBook Express. Q/ What sort of Digital Tablet do you use? A/ I use a Wacom Intuos 4 Digital Tablet with the various set of nibs it comes with. Q/ What camera(s) do you use? A/ I mainly use my own Canon 1000D and sometimes my Olympus U 7020 Digital Camera. I used to on occasion use my father's Fuji Finepix and an old Sony Cybershot. Q/ What traditional supplies do you use? A/ For sketching I use various traditional pencils and pacers. Sometime I like to sketch with my blue lead. Sometimes I like to sketch in pen or charcoal. Colouring traditionally I use colour pencils, watercolour pencils, acrylic paints, oil paints, watercolour paints, gouache paints, artist markers and pastels. Painting and inking specifically I use various paintbrushes that I've collected and been bought from ones as thick as my thumb to brushes that could be used to paint miniatures. I usually do my art on plain artist paper but do sometimes experiment on canvas or different papers. Most recently I've been eying off coloured textured paper that I was bought for me last Christmas ... but for the most part I'm too afraid to ruin/waste it. |
| [NOPE] = Not Original Pose; This means that, for the purpose of learning, practice, concepts etc, I've taken the pose in the artwork from a photo, base or anatomy sketch that isn't mine and drawn it. Rarely will I trace, if I have I will say so. I'll try to reference what I've used but if for one reason or another I don't and you recognise the artwork/photo/anatomy sketch I've used in an artwork, please leave me a comment or send me a note with the reference and I'll gladly update my info! My Faves/Resource Collections I used to use a folder in my Favourites called "NOPE" to collect and keep my references from this site. But recently I have decided to use a number of Favourites folders to collect resources of all kinds; human references, tutorials, brush packs and so on. The old NOPE folder can still be found but I am trying to organise it between the new folders. Feel free to use my Favourites folders to find resources for yourself!
